Eight Random Facts
Connie asked me to post 8 random thoughts. I'm not going to tag eight people because I don't like involuntary chain posting. But if you'd like, please post 8 random facts about yourself.
1) I've never eaten any type of musical instrument. I have eaten chicken gizzards and liver before, because I grew up in the south and had no choice.
2) I've been a member of three different large organizations in my life: the Aircraft Owner and Pilot Association (AOPA), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the Planetary Society. I quit the Planetary Society because I felt kind of guilty that I was supporting a lobbying organization that was lobbying to protect my job when I worked at NASA. Also, they were putting a lot of money into SETI and I thought that was a waste of time this late in the game.
3) I used to be a cat person, but now I'm a dog person. I still don't like big dogs that slobber.
4) I rarely show up to work before 9:15.
5) My college major was electrical engineering, but I minored in literature.
6) My college, UTD was awesome. It was so small that I always saw the same faces on campus. Going to that school was like being in one giant student organization. Everyone was nice to everyone else. There were no cliques at UTD. My friends included a dorky PhD from Vietnam, a bartender, a frat boy, a brilliant astrophysics student, a blond who drove a trans am, and an all-American soccer player.
7) I own an airplane, but I spend more time working on it than flying it. Honestly, I love to work on my airplane.
8) I'm registered to vote in two different states, Arizona and Texas. I've never voted twice. Not sure if this is because I'm honest or lazy.

I like chicken livers and gizzards. I think they're yummy! And WOW for owning an airplane!
Thanks for playing, Will :)
